One of my favorite features in a home is getting lots of natural light. That was one of the main things we looked for when we bought our home in 2021. I love a light and bright look in every room, including a bedroom. It makes the space look larger, more open and more welcoming. These featured bedrooms all feature tons of natural light, plus gorgeous views and beautiful decorating!

Mirrors are one of my favorite ways to decorate - they open up a room, maximize light and are usually less expensive than similarly sized artwork. Many people only use floor length mirrors in the bedroom, but in my opinion they can look great in family rooms, living rooms and dining rooms too! The bed is always the focal point of a bedroom so it might as well make a statement!! I’ve always had a fabric covered headboard but lately I’ve been really drawn to a wooden bed - I love how simple, clean and timeless they are. Here are some beds I’m eying this summer!
I love a statement kitchen island - they pull the space together and provide counter space and a place for the family to gather. Even if the island isn’t bold it can still be beautiful and the focal point of a room! Here are some gorgeous islands that I’m currently loving!
Everyone always suggests adding color through accessories like throw pillows and blankets - small accent pieces. I love keeping things neutral though, and think that by layering textures and sizes and materials you can really make a room look timeless and expensive through using neutrals.
