To Do: April 2017

I'm ready to tackle April head on, and with events like this I know this month will be great!

Columbia Gorge Wine Tasting

Friday, April 7th at Leftbank Annex. This wine tasting event allows visitors to sample wines from over 20 different wineries in the Columbia River Gorge. The event also provides light appetizers, a commemorative wine glass, and the opporunity to socialize with the vintners and other wine lovers! The best part? Tickets only cost $25!

Old House Revival Tour

Saturday, April 15th throughout Portland. If you are a fan of historic homes, or homes in general, this tour is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The self-guided tour features 8 homes, located in SE, SW, NE and N Portland. The event allows attendees to admire the historic architecture, the differing decors, and the ways that homes can be renovated and modernized while still meeting historical home design guidelines.

Rabbit Romp

Saturday, April 15 at the Oregon Zoo. Bring the kids to the zoo for a family fun day full of Easter celebrations! Featuring Easter Egg Hunts, a petting zoo, crafts, games and more, your kids will love getting to spend easter with their favorite zoo animals!

Portland Pizza Week

April 17-22 at various Portland Pizza Parlors. $2 pizza slices?!?! Sign me up! During Portland Pizza Week over 30 restaurants will be offering $2 pizza slices on speciality flavors. They haven't announced the flavor topics yet, but if last years flavors are any indication they will be out of this world! Last year my friends and I went to about 4 or 5 different restaurants in one night and shared lots of slices and we loved it! Keep checking the website for updated restaurants and slice choices so you can plan out your pizza week right :)

Design Week Portland

April 21-29 at various Portland locations. Design Week offers an inspiring mix of educational speakers, exhibits, meet-ups, pop-up shops and more. Their mission is to Connect, Educate and Inspire, and by looking at all of jam-packed events during the week I think they will be successful!
