I'm so thrilled to announce that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend! David has been an amazing boyfriend the past three years, and I know he will be an equally fantastic husband and (someday!) father. He makes me smile and laugh like no one else can, feel protected in every way, and pushes me to be the best person that I can be.

David proposed in Manzanita at the Oregon Coast, which holds a very special place in our hearts. His family has a beach house there and we go about every other month. It is where we first said I love you and we've spent countless amazing weekends there. After this it is even more special!

I picked out the setting for my ring myself- I figure if I am going to wear it every day for the rest of my life I better absolutely love it!! He picked a gorgeous diamond to go with it, and I had absolutely no idea it was going to be happening that weekend! I had picked out the ring months and months before, so it definitely took me by surprise. The ring is rose gold, which I never thought I would want, but as soon as I tried it on I loved how soft and subtle the color is against my skin tone. The ring is so gorgeous and sparkly that I can't stop looking at it!

We are hoping to tie the knot in the summer of 2019 at a gorgeous Oregon outdoor venue. We are on the hunt for the perfect location, so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!
