This will be our third summer living in our house (we purchased it in June 2017), and I’m still disappointed to say that the backyard is not yet what I want it to be. The backyard is not only pretty small, but it is also laid out in an odd way and has a larger deck than I think fits the space, as well as two large trees that take up a good amount of room.

Even though my backyard isn’t as fabulous as I would like, I still love spending time out there and have been doing minor projects to help make it pretty, welcoming and great for entertaining. I love looking at backyard projects and dreaming of what I could do to make my yard as gorgeous as some of these- I hope you can find some inspiration in them as well!
