Ever since we moved into our home in 2021 I’ve toyed with so many different options for our kitchen table nook. At first I wanted a round table, then a banquette with custom bench seating, and then just a new rectangular table. Our formal dining room has become a play room, so the kitchen eating area is the only table we will have for the foreseeable future. Right now we have an old IKEA table that I really don’t like, but it fits well in the space and is extendable. I’ve come to realize that we need to keep an extendable table so that we still have enough seating to have guests over. Here are some options I’m loving!
