We are in the midst of a heat wave here in Portland, and it is way too hot to even leave the house! Normally in the summer I love working outside, either in my yard or at a coffee shop or park, but right now there is no way that I would spend more than a few minutes outside in the middle of the day! It is really too bad because us Portlanders wait all year for summer, but when it is this hot it almost seems like the nice weather is being wasted.

If I had an amazing pool to go to, like the ones pictured below, I think I would be able to brave the heat in order to lay out, work on my tan, and enjoy the refreshing water. I can't have a pool at my house now (hello tiny backyard!) but it is one of my future life goals. You can bet mine will be modeled off of one, or some, of these amazing pools!
