Street of Dreams

July 28- August 26, The Reserve Vineyard & Golf Course. The 2018 NW Natural Street of Dreams will feature six homes in the largest master planned community in Oregon - The Vendage at The Reserve Golf Club in South Hillsboro. Overlooking holes 10, 11, and 12, these innovative show homes will introduce you to a new community nearly 20 years in the making. Whether you are looking for your dream home, wanting to build a new home or getting ready to remodel or redecorate your current home, you will find your inspiration at this year's NW Natural Street of Dreams. I've already been to this event & it is definitely worth checking out!

Elephant Garlic Festival

August 10-12, North Plains. Garlic lovers rejoice- this festival is for you!! Head west to North Plains and enjoy great food, music, craft vendors, and of course, GARLIC! This event is free and open to families, so bring some mints and get ready for a garlicky weekend.

Bridge Pedal

August 12, all over Portland. Join your friends and neighbors for the one opportunity each year to bike or walk on Portland’s car-free streets and bridges, including the upper decks of both the Marquam and Fremont bridges. There are 4 different options for courses, from the main ride to a kids ride, and a walking course. This event is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Portland in a safe riding environment!

Portland Renovation & Landscaping Show

August 17-19, Portland Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Exhibitors will showcase everything for the home, including the latest in cabinetry, countertops, flooring, sunrooms, additions, basement finishing, waterproofing, landscaping, and energy efficient windows, as well as exterior products! For many people, a major obstacle to making a change to the place they call home is simply figuring out what to do and whom to ask -- But with hundreds of professional exhibitors eager to talk about their products and services, the Portland Renovation & Landscaping Show is the place to find the answers!

Festa Italiana Portland

August 23-25, Pioneer Courthouse Square. This fun festival celebrates all things Italian in the heart of Portland! The event is free and family friendly & features a special Thursday evening mass, a bocce ball tournament, & fantastic entertainment. What I'm looking forward to most is the food! Sample amazing Italian food while you enjoy the great music and entertainment with all of the best Italians in Portland!

Oregon State Fair

August 26- September 3, Salem. What doesn't the Oregon State Fair have?? This is definitely a family event, so pack everyone up and head down to Salem, our states capitol, for a fun outdoor event! Entertainment includes tons of concerts, a marching band, a circus & more! Obviously there will be rides, as well as lots of different farm animals to check out. Fill up on classic carnival food while you play games and enjoy the fair!

Hawthorne Street Fair

August 26, Hawthorne Street. SE Hawthorne Boulevard has a long history of tradition and is known for its eclectic mix of boutiques shops, cafes, food carts, bars, restaurants and music related destinations. It continues to be a thriving community of residents, business owners, and visitors. Besides shopping all of the normal shops & restaurants along Hawthorne, highlights include the Main Music Stage at 38th Avenue, Kids Activities at Kids At Heart, Beer gardens at Bazi Bierbrasserie, Growlers Hawthorne, and Hawthorne Hophouse, and vendors along the street between 31st and 38th Avenues. The event is free and open to all ages!
