Although in many ways I am extremely basic (hello leggings, scented candles and Instagram!) there are some basic girl things that I am fully not into. I don’t like quote decor, pillows that say “Thankful” or in your face seasonal decorating. However, I do like my home to match the time of year, just in a more subtle way. I’m generally not into pumpkins, but every once in a while some chic white pumpkin decor will make its way into my house. For florals I try to avoid the obvious color choices like burnt orange, red and yellow, and instead gravitate to a softer color palette with lots of greenery thrown in.
