Chinese New Year

February 5th - February 19th at Lan Su Chinese Garden. Learn more about Chinese New Year, the most colorful and joyous of all Chinese festivals during Lan Su's two-week celebration featuring lion dances, cultural performances, martial arts, calligraphy, family-friendly craft activities and much more! The festivities kick off Tuesday, February 5 with "Rolling in the Wealth," a traditional good fortune and prosperity activity of rolling oranges and gold coins through Lan Su's front door. The celebration ends with several nights of Lantern Viewing Evenings when the garden is illuminated with colorful lanterns and a lively dragon procession.

Valentine Shopping Extravaganza

February 9th at Oaks Park Dance Pavilion. Join Puplandia Dog Rescue for a day of fun, with proceeds going to help their dogs in need! The event features 50 amazing vendors, gorgeous crafts, local art, and even a puppy kissing booth! There are lots of great goodies for both humans and doggies at this charity event.

Zwickelmania

February 16th at many breweries in the Portland Metro Area. Beer lovers rejoice! Zwickelmania returns for its 11th year! This FREE event runs from 11am-4pm. All participating breweries offer events like meet-the-brewer, beer tastings, brewery tours and food & beer pairings.

PDX Jazz Festival

February 20th - March 3rd at various Portland locations. The PDX Jazz Festival is a multi-venue series of jazz events presented each February within Portland, Oregon. Nationally and regionally supported as a cultural tourism initiative in celebration of Black History Month, PDX Jazz Festival is dedicated to preserving America’s indigenous art form by presenting internationally recognized jazz masters alongside local jazz musicians. A series of jazz education and outreach programs that extend into Portland’s schools and neighborhoods is at the heart of the annual event.

Portland Spring Home & Garden Show

February 21st - 24th at the Portland Expo Center. The 72nd Portland Spring Home & Garden Show returns to the Portland Expo Center Thursday, February 21 through Sunday, February 24. As Portland’s longest-running home market place, the Portland Spring Home & Garden Show gives homeowners the opportunity to learn about the latest home and garden products and services from more than 300 local companies. Show-goers can talk with experts about how to make their ideas and dreams come to life. Produced by the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland, the Portland Spring Home & Garden Show is a one-stop shop for all things home and garden. The 2019 Portland Spring Home & Garden Show will feature 11 incredible showcase gardens, and you won’t want to miss the Sculpture Walk through the gardens.

Brewstillery Festival

February 23rd at Stormbreaker Brewing. Breweries and Distilleries teaming up to create the perfect pairings. Each pairing will consist of a 4oz beer pour and a 1/4 oz spirit taste. Only like beer? Then just drink beer. You can pick and choose, although we strongly recommend going for the pairing. Live music all day!
