My husband and I moved into our new house at the end of November, and overall I’m pretty happy with the progress we are making in moving in and making the house our own. Being pregnant has slowed me down substantially, and I think if I had my normal energy levels I would have more done, but I can’t complain too much!

Our new house has a formal living room, which is something I haven’t had in a home of my own. Honestly we were hoping to not have a formal living room, because they often seem like wasted space. However, I’m determined to make mine a chic yet cozy room where our family can spend lots of time together in front of the fireplace or cuddled up on the couch.
