Now that Vivian is getting a bit older (she turned one last Friday!!!) I’m really starting to feel like her toys and other items are completely taking over the house. Sometimes I mind more than others, but overall I like to try my best to keep everything of hers as contained as possible so my house doesn’t feel like a toy store!

We don’t have a dedicated play room, but right now we are using our formal living room as her play space. We also have her room, and a playpen area in the corner of our living room. Even though these spaces are filled with toys, kids furniture, books and other knick knacks it doesn’t mean they need to be unattractive or unorganized! Here are some great examples of fun and functional play spaces that look like they would inspire creativity and imagination while still allowing a certain home aesthetic. Enjoy!
