My very first blog post, a little over a year ago, was about the Portland Rose Garden. A lot has changed for me in the past year, but my love of the rose garden has remained the same! I chose to right about it as my first blog post because it is one of my favorite spots in Portland, and I still love going up there as much as possible.

This weekend my dad, David and I met at the rose garden to play tennis at one of the courts there. The rose garden was absolutely packed for one of their summer concerts! Having the pounding drums playing behind us while playing tennis definitely made the experience more intense!

We are planning a few picnics up there before the flowers begin to fade and the weather turns. Hopefully you can make it up there soon too!
