Inspiration: Spanish Style Homes

I’ve always been enamored with Spanish style architecture - I love the stucco walls, tiles roofs and visible beams that help define the style. My grandparents lived in Palos Verdes in LA, which is known for having areas that require red tile roofs. Growing up I loved going on walks in their neighborhood and seeing all of the homes there. Sadly there aren’t many Spanish style homes in Portland, but whenever I see one listed for sale I always try to check it out!

The homes below don’t necessarily fit into a specific Spanish style, such as traditional Spanish homes, Spanish Colonial or Spanish Revival. However, they all showcase some essential elements that capture the Spanish style.
