The 2017 Street of Dreams features 5 homes, ranging in style from an open farmhouse to a super modern Japanese style home designed by Koichiro Hirata, the same architect who recently completed the remodel of the Portland Japanese Garden and is currently working on the 2020 Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.

Although these audits have been available for awhile, they are just now becoming mandatory. Portland wants to increase the energy efficiency of residential properties and give buyers a more informed view of their future homes energy usage.

Read MoreThe Goose Hollow neighborhood in Portland sits west of downtown and just south of Burnside street. The neighborhood is more residential than some of the other neighborhoods in Portland, but is certainly not lacking in attractions, restaurants and things to do. Goose Hollow is still very walkable, with downtown being only a few blocks down the hill and NW Portland being right over Burnside.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it to the Portland Catio Tour last weekend, but one of my best friends Lauren was able to document the event and do a great blog post for me! Read MoreOne of my favorite days of the week is always Tuesday, the day my office and I go on Brokers Tour, better known as Tuesday Tour! Every Tuesday Realtor's with new homes put them open on Tuesdays for other agents to see new listings and get a chance to socialize and network with other agents. It is a great chance to look at homes you might not otherwise get to see, preview homes for a client, and spend time with the other agents in my office!
