As someone with a birthday very close to Halloween (October 29th) I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with the holiday. It’s fun to embrace Halloween as part of my birthday celebration, but it definitely gets old after awhile. I’m also not a big fan of spooky things, or over the top purple and orange decorations. Now that I have a daughter though, I’m excited to help make the holiday special for her, which includes adding some Halloween decor to my home.
